Ronald Robert Frisk

Ronald Robert “Ron” Frisk, 76 of Cameron, Wisconsin died Friday, March 20, 2015 at Mayo Clinic Health Care Cancer Center in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.  Ron was born on October 25, 1938 in Hammond, IN to William and Elizabeth B. Frisk.  He married Irene Helen Derjan on May 7, 1960 in East Chicago, IN.

Ron worked for Republic/LTV Steel in South Chicago, IL and later for Jerome Foods in Barron, WI.  He graduated from Hammond Technical High School in Hammond, IN.  He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman his entire life, and enjoyed making his own fishing jigs; which he shared with many.  He loved his family and his church and was friend to all he met.

Ron leaves to celebrate his memory, his wife, Irene (of 54 years) of Cameron, WI; daughter, Dawn (Michael) Hooper, Griffith, IN; sons, Kevin (Laura) Frisk, Portage, IN; Keith (Renee) Frisk, Wichita, KS; granddaughters, Vanessa Hooper, Ashley Hooper, Leanne Frisk, Megan Frisk, Kylie Frisk, Katie Odchitz, Samantha Odchitz, grandsons, Johnnie Kantor & Billy Odchitz, great grandsons, Andrew, Nash and Jace Herrera, brother, David (Phyllis) Frisk, Sparta, WI; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Derjan & Gloria Frisk and many nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Elizabeth Frisk and his brother, William Frisk.

A Memorial Service for Ron will be held on Monday, March 23, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Chetek United Methodist Church.  Ron’s family will greet visitors at the church beginning at 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.  Following the service the family invites their guests to join them for lunch and fellowship in the church fellowship hall.
