Rose Marie Coleman

Heaven has gained a beautiful Angel!  Rose Marie Coleman passed away March 3, 2020 at the Barron Hospital.  Rose was born to Albert and Minnie Poirier on December 8, 1940 in Springbrook, WI.  She married Charles Richards on December 27, 1960 and together they had 3 children.  After Charles’s passed away Rose married William Coleman Sr.

Rose was a homemaker most of her life.  Later in life Rose did in home healthcare.  She loved her job because she loved to help people and make them happy and comfortable in their life.

Rose is survived by her children: Bonnie (Bob) Shimko, Bruce, WI; Connie (Ken Graese) Richards, Barnes, WI; Charles J. Richards, Bruce, WI; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, also, a sister, Adeline Poirier, Chetek, WI; brother, Robert Poirier, Menifee, CA; sisters-in-law, Rose Mary Poirier and Donna Poirier, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and a very special friend, Arloa Bannister.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Minnie Poirier, both husbands, Charles Richards and William Coleman Sr., brothers, Jack, Ben, Frances, Harold and Ray, sister, Alice Poirier and a very special friend, Agnes Nelson.

A very special thank you goes out to all the staff at the Barron Care and Rehab, Barron Hospital and Dr. Carmarker.

The Funeral Service For Rose will be held on Friday, May 29, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Chetek.  Visitation will be held at 12:00 Noon until the time of service. Following the service Rose will be laid to rest at the Pleasant Plain Cemetery in Prairie Lake Township.

Casket-bearers will be B.J. Shimko, Kaz Richards, Adam Shimko, Ken Graese, Chuck Richards, Crystal Clark, Sarah Chavez and Shay Johnson.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL SOCIAL DISTANCING RECOMMENDED BY THE STATE AND BARRON COUNTY WILL BE PRACTICED DURING THE VISITATION AND THE FUNERAL SERVICE.
