RUSSELL LARSON, JR.

Russell Larson, Jr., 67, Chetek, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 20 at Atrium Nursing Home in Chetek after a battle with cancer.  He was born on July 3, 1949 to Russell and Madeline Larson and was joined by two brothers, John and William.  Russell enjoyed working with his hands and spent much of his life as a carpenter.  These jobs took him to various parts of the country which he was always excited to see.  An avid Packers and Brewers fan, he spent countless hours watching and analyzing their victories and defeats.  He liked watching TV and was always ready for a lively discussion about politics.  In later years he returned to Chetek enjoying time with family, friends and nieces and nephews there.  He was proceeded in death by his parents and numerous aunts and uncles.  A private graveside service and celebration of life are planned.
