Sigurd Anderson Rishovd Jr.

Sigurd Anderson Rishovd Jr., age 67, passed away on August 19, 2022, in Chetek, Wisconsin.

Sigurd was born on November 18, 1954, to Jeanne and Sigurd Rishovd in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Sig loved growing up in the area and coming to Chetek on the weekends. He loved being out on the water. He sold boats in the Lake Minnetonka area and King’s Cove on the St Croix river. Also Tracker Boat Center in Rice Lake and River Valley Sports. Besides his boats, he had many other toys that he liked to take out for a spin, such as his snowmobiles, gator, or his Corvette. He also enjoyed woodworking and working on projects at the cottage. He was a very social person and loved entertaining family and friends. He will be dearly missed, and he has left a huge hole in our hearts.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jeanne and Sigurd Rishovd.

Sigurd is survived by his wife, Kathleen Rishovd, children, Sigurd (Erin) Rishovd III and Erica (Greg) Freeman, grandchildren, Henry Freeman and Sigurd Rishovd IV, and sister, Kristine (Bradley) Swanson, as well as many other loving family and friends.

A service will be held at a later date.
