Thomas G. Prorok

Thomas “Tom” G. Prorok, 66, of Weyerhaeuser, Wisconsin passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at the Knapp Haven Nursing Home in Chetek. Tom was born on April 13, 1948 in Ladysmith, Wisconsin the son of Paul and Marion (Evenson) Prorok.

Tom leaves to celebrate his memory: children, Deanna (Andrew) Weber, Greendale, WI; Monica (Brian) Scharfenberger, Milwaukee, WI and Kurt Prorok (Megan Kobernick), grandchildren: Megan, Ada, Owen, Noah, Dakota and Jackson, sisters, Linda (Thomas) Turauski and Paulette (Robert) Martin, brothers, Jerome (Barb) Prorok, Kenneth (Lynn) Prorok and Richard (Connie) Prorok and other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Marion Prorok and brother Jack Prorok.

Funeral services will be held at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Chetek on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. Deacon Michael Cullen will officiate.

The Prorok family will greet visitors on Monday, September 8, 2014 from 4:00 -7:00 P.M. at the Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Chetek and then again at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.

Tom will be laid to rest at the Northern Wisconsin Veteran’s Cemetery in Spooner, Wisconsin following the service. The family invites their guests to join them for fellowship and lunch at the Ponderosa following the cemetery service.

The Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Chetek has been entrusted with arrangements.
