Warren Allen Wood, 52, of Chetek, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 with his loving family at his side. Warren was born on February 20, 1962 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. He was the son of Linda May Swant and Edward Lloyd Wood.
Warren was a lover of the great outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, four-wheeling, motorcycling, working on vehicles, and was a jack-of-all trades. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Warren leaves to celebrate his memory: His bride, Tammy Larson-Wood, Chetek; mother, Linda Swant (Pa, Russel Hoel), Cameron; father, Edward (Gladisann) Wood, St. Paul, MN; brother, Charles Wood, Cameron; children: Amanda Marie Wood, Ladysmith; Trista Lynn (Troy) Kittelson, Barron; Michael Warren Wood, Eau Claire; Randall Allen Wood, Ladysmith; Thomas Lee Hengst, Washington State; Courtney Jean Powell, Chetek; Grandchildren: Dylan Ollinger, Braeden Gryga, Kameryn Gryga, Koltin Kramp, Troy Kittelson, Natalee Kittelson, Drew Wood; many nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends, and his dog Pudge. He was preceded in death by his brother Vincent Wood.
Warren's family will greet visitors on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Chetek from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a Time of Sharing starting at 7:00.
The Burnham-Our-Kolstad Family Home of Chetek has been entrusted with arrangements and cremation.
